Team Manager - CSW - GOOD OFSTED - Low Caseloads 51K + RR
Following a "Good" and almost "Outstanding" OFSTED rating, this East London Local Authority is seeking Team Managers for its Community Social Work team.
This is a dedicated management post, and the casework is mostly comprised of children who are subject to Child in Need and Child Protection plans living within families affected by multiple issues including domestic abuse, substance misuse and parental mental health. The teams also work with Children Looked After by the Local Authority and children subject to public law court proceedings.
Caseloads are kept low to enable you to clear them to the best standards of practice, and also reduce your stress. This is a well resourced authority, providing social workers with access to statutory services, on hand to help with your already low caseload, further reducing your stress.
This position begins with a 6 week induction period, to help you get up to speed, however this can be completed quicker if you wish to start early. Flexible and home working are available so you can alter your start and end time to accommodate your lifestyle and other commitments.
This is a permanent role at an authority with an emphasis on improving its social workers quality of life.
Successful candidates can expect:

The right candidates must have:
- 5 years of Child Protection experienceCourt Work experienceManagement experienceA current enhanced DBS and registration with the HCPC.ASYE completed
