Senior Lecturer in Clinical Biochemistry - Department of Biomedical Science and Physiology

Within the School, the Department of Biomedical Science and Physiology delivers high quality teaching across a range of undergraduate and postgraduate taught programmes offering integrated placement year opportunities in research, medical and commercial settings. The Department of Biomedical Science and Physiology delivers a highly successful portfolio of IBMS accredited Biomedical Science courses, and as such, we seek to appoint a full time Senior Lecturer Clinical Biochemistry. You will possess the depth and breadth of knowledge to contribute to teaching, research and assessment on the BSc and MSc Biomedical Science awards, and related programmes, and will preferably be registered with the IBMS, HCPC or be a member of a relevant PSRB. You should have a first degree in a related discipline or equivalent and either a Masters or a PhD or significant professional practice experience in Clinical Biochemistry.

You will have evidence of being able to deliver research outcomes, whether by proof of independent research with the capability of attracting support or by interest in engaging with one or more of the successful research groups that form part of the School's research portfolio. Good communication and organisational skills are essential attributes.
