Toxicology Manager - Global role with 4 direct reports to start

Contending in the top 4, they offer a slightly different service to its competitors, allowing for their products to be tailored to their customer needs.
This really is a unique opportunity incorporating Toxicology, Ecotoxicology and Regulatory into one combined role. You will be tasked with managing and developing the toxicology team. So this is not only a technical role but an operational and leadership position.
Much of the focus will be on human health risk assessments but will also allow you to develop yourself in environmental hazards with a review of products and advising senior management on the best strategy moving forward.
The position also is broad enough to include advocacy work and participate on industry trade associations, technical work groups, and scientific/regulatory advocacy committees that address toxicology issues of interest of the company.
QUALIFICATIONS & EXPERIENCE
- Master of Science or Ph.D. level education in Toxicology, Pharmacology, Biochemistry, Life sciences or other applicable field.
- In-depth technical experience in principles / theories / methods of toxicology testing, study management and complex risk assessments.
- Sufficient relevant work experience in the toxicology field
- Equivalent combination of education and experience
