Senior/ Principal Geo-environmental Engineer

One of the UK's leading Environmental Consultancies which is currently looking for an experienced senior or principal geo-environmental engineer to help expand and grow their specialist team in Derby.

Job Tasks and Responsibilities:
* Producing interpretive and factual report writing. Foundation Design reports.
* Signing off on reports
* Phase II Site Investigation
* Running the office team. Therefor this role requires you to take lots of responsibility and work relatively autonomously
* Managing Site Activities (such as Trial Pitting and Drilling Supervision)
* Managing Sub Contractors including maintaining a high performance quality and creating Health and Safety reports

Skills and Qualifications Required:
* 5-12 years Geotechnical/Ground Investigation/Site Investigation Experience(UK Experience Only)
* MSc degree level qualified in geology or relevant environmental subjects
* Chartered Geologist or Approaching Chartership
* Project Management experience, including the supervision of drilling, people management, health and safety reports, cost analysis and budgeting
* Good communication skills to liaise with other members of the project, sub contractors and clients
