KAM - Distribution & Healthcare manager

My client a famous WW actor in Pharma. Very well known, with a great reach in hospitals and for GPs & Spes all ready they are now launching an OTC range of products.

Already registered in major groupings and pharmacy buyers they are looking for a National Account Manager for UK + Ireland if it goes well.

They have a small range at this point but are continuing to add their Internet best-sellers directly in Pharmacies through distribution channels.

A strong potential to grow a team if all worked well. Strong support from global and hands-on locally. A perfect mix in my mind.


Responsibilities and tasks
* Ensure a professional & good relationship with customers and ability to sell at category level
* Construct UK Retail business plan
* Achieve country sales targets & margin
* Be the UK anchor point for Retail - work with website manager as well to identify the products of tomorrow.
* Manage the UK Retail strategy.
* Secure that E-com and Retail UK are aligned on Marketing, pricing and timing
* Weekly teleconferences with Global Retail Director
* Report market developments and trends to the team
* Develop and activate market plans


Need for supervision and level of individual decision making

* The position is very entrepreneurial when it comes to how customers are approached.
* Work independently with a high degree of decision making if it supports the Retail plan.
* Work with and support peers business plans as well at a global level.

Experience and qualifications required in the job

* Preferably the person has a history within OTC products and a network to display.
* Be business orientated with strong Pharmacy-channel knowledge.
* English speaking
* Good negotiation skills
