Family Court Adviser

CAFCASS is looking for an experienced Social Worker to join them as a Family Court Adviser, which aims to ensure that children's needs remain the focus within the Courts.

Highlights

  • This is a non statutory post and will see you work with a specialist charity which works to ensure Children's needs are represented in the Courts
  • Position will focus on Private Law
  • Will have the opportunity to work alongside colleagues from a range of Local Authorities
  • Initially you will benefit from a induction period which will last a couple of weeks to help you get familiar with processes
  • Will be give the equipment necessary to work flexibly and remotely
  • Excellent Support and all your work will be QA'd prior to going to the Courts so that you can be confident with your reports

    • This is an excellent opportunity for those practitioners looking for a different type of post which provides an alternative working environment within a charity. The role is quite specialised working specifically within courts to ensure that the child's needs remain central to any decisions. You will be working independently from the Local Authority, however will still be required to interact with colleagues from a range of Local Authorities depending on the case.

    CAFCASS provides excellent levels of flexibility and you will be given the opportunity to work from home and remotely once you have gone through the induction and become proficient with CAFCASS processes.

    To be considered for this post you should have extensive experince in Child Protection and Court Work teams
