Aga Khan University Hospital invites applications for the position of Senior Cardiac Trainee Technologist, Cardiopulmonary.

Responsibilities

You will be responsible to:
  • perform all basic and learn high end modality of non-invasive adult Cardiac diagnostic procedures includes; Transesophageal echocardiography and stress echocardiography for accurate diagnosis of cardiovascular diseases.
  • ensure conformance to set standards by working closely with senior technologist.
  • at the end of the training, it is expected that trainee will perform above mentioned special procedures independently.
  • work beyond office hours or on-calls in emergency situation by providing necessary compensation i.e. staggered hours.
  • perform any invasive procedure, if and when required.

Requirements

You should have:
  • Intermediate (pre-medical), Graduate would be preferred.
  • successful completion of 24 months training program in non-invasive cardiac diagnostic services at AKUH or equivalent.
  • excellent interpersonal skills.
  • good written and verbal communication skill in English.
  • good knowledge of computer software.
