The Australian Institute for Business and Economics (AIBE) is a research centre within UQ's Faculty of Business, Economics and Law (BEL).
Established in 2014 thanks to a generous donation from a UQ alumnus, AIBE leverages world-class collaborative research capabilities across UQ's Business School, School of Economics and TC Beirne School of Law. The Institute focuses on Australian and global innovations, and new horizon research to address the current needs and future challenges of businesses.
Working with AIBE is a unique experience, offering clients a one-stop shop for their research needs. The Institute is strategically positioned as an intermediary for academic researchers and organisations, and has developed strong partnerships and a real understanding of the requirements of governments and businesses. AIBE delivers tailored outcomes, produces results that are rigorous and credible, conducts research that is of world-class standard, and ensures projects are quality controlled, on-budget and suit clients' timeframes.
About This Opportunity
The successful candidate will develop a program of research and undertake independent research in Corporate Sustainability, collaborating with other researchers in the development and submission of competitive research tenders and grant applications. The Postdoctoral Research Fellow will develop publications for high-quality national and international journals, present research outcomes and write thought leadership papers for AIBE, the Conversation and media. An important part of this role will also be liaising with external partners and attending AIBE and BEL Faculty events.
This position is located at PACE in Woolloongabba.
Our Ideal Candidate
We are seeking a collaborative researcher with experience as a chief investigator or lead on a research project. Applicants should possess a PhD and postdoctoral experience in the area of Corporate Sustainability or a related discipline. You will have high-quality writing skills evidenced by outputs in conference papers, journal articles or other forms of academic writing.
You must have ongoing unrestricted work rights in Australia to apply for this opportunity.

This is a part-time (60% FTE), fixed term position for 2 years at Academic Research level B.
The full-time equivalent base salary will be in the range $ 95,771 - $ 113,728, plus super of up to 17%.
