Student Recruitment Officer (International)

The Student Recruitment Officer (International) supports the day-to-day delivery of initiatives to attract international students to undergraduate, postgraduate and research programs in the Faculty of Engineering, Computer and Mathematical Sciences (ECMS).

The ideal candidate will be motivated and driven, with strong team work and organisational skills, high level interpersonal and presentation skills, and the ability to contribute to student recruitment/sales objectives and initiatives.This role will work with the Student Recruitment Team Leader to coordinate and deliver the international student recruitment portfolio for the Faculty of ECMS with the overall goal to build The University of Adelaide's profile in the community as the Technology, Engineering and Mathematics educator of choice.

The Marketing, Engagement and Recruitment team drive the faculty vision through a range of distinctive initiatives which showcase the reach, influence and impact of our education and research offerings. We aim to be regarded as the education and research institute of choice for engineering, computer science and mathematical sciences; with our graduates and staff known for their quality attributes and expertise which is sought after by our local and global communities.

To be successful you will need:

• Exceptional interpersonal communication skills; including the ability to provide high level advice, build and maintain relationships with internal and external stakeholders and promote a strong and positive team culture.
• High level organisational skills and demonstrated experience in managing multiple tasks, implementing plans to achieve defined outcomes, and solving problems in an innovative and creative manner.
• Ability to give public presentations to suit different audiences, including prospective students and international education agents, in a culturally diverse environment.
• Demonstrated ability to develop key selling messages and implement recruitment programs, initiatives and activities to effectively showcase a product or service with a focus on quality improvement and customer experience.
