LAS strives for continuous improvement in animal husbandry through the training and development of its animal care technicians and a demonstrated commitment to customer service.
Working under general direction the Team Leader, AHMS Biomedical Research Facility, will be responsible for leading a small team and liaising with all research groups, delivering outstanding technical support and ensuring experimental activity adheres to ethically approved projects.

- Significant experience working in a biomedical research environment, particularly in a Specific-pathogen-free (SPF) environment.
- Demonstrated ability to successfully lead a small team.
- Demonstrated knowledge and understanding of compliance and quality issues impacting on a biomedical research environment.
- A demonstrated commitment to animal welfare and ethics, including a commitment to best practice in laboratory animal science.
