NonStop Technical is working with a leading manufacturer of transmission systems applicable in electric vehicles and hybrids in the automotive industry. The company works with OEMs across the globe and is currently looking to hire a Sales Manager in Belgium.

The company we are working with provides innovative technical products to the industry and supplies directly to the car manufacturers. The product is quite unique as it's directly applicable specifically for electric and hybrid vehicles. This is obviously a developing market within the industry which is experiencing exponential growth. By getting into this field you will be able to work with some of the latest technologies, be aware of the latest developments on the market, and have a long-term perspective as you will become an expert within an important and growing field.

In this role, you will have the opportunity to develop the European OEM market. The company has already signed one big client and is further expanding into this region. Most of its customers are currently overseas but the actual HQ are located in the Benelux. You will be the one taking their global strategy to the next level by adding more European and other clients to their portfolio.

In this role you will:

  • Be responsible for active acquisition of new OEM's globally
  • Be responsible for aligning Sales and R&D during the pre-sales phase with clearly defined project objectives
  • Be responsible for the follow up of projects that are in mass production, related customer communication and you will coordinate product and development maintenance to safeguard long term quality
  • Be responsible to further improve Sales processes and the interface processes with other internal departments.
  • Represent the customer accounts within the organisation, making sure customer needs and expectations are met
  • Coordinate internal resources (R&D, production, quality, AS&S, top management involvement) to ensure key accounts are well taken care of
  • Frequently visit clients

Your profile:

  • Some years of sales experience within the automotive industry, managing OEM accounts
  • Experience with a technical product
  • Engineering Degree is a massive plus
  • Fluent English, Dutch is a massive plus
  • Ability to travel internationally
  • Strong negotiation skills
  • Excellent client management skills

For this permanent position our client is offering an attractive salary package of EUR 90,000 - EUR 100,000, company car, annual bonus and benefits.
