Salary: £23,545.10 - £31,209.68 plus £1,885.27 Outer London Weighting

NonStop Care is working with a charity in the North West of London in order to recruit for a permanent Social Worker for their Female Genital Mutilation Centre. The role offers you the flexibility to work from home often, allowing you to have a better work - life balance.

They have a very low caseload as well, 12 at the moment, so you will have more time to focus on each case. They have a few Social Workers that came from busy child protection backgrounds and they said they now have more time to do thinks like school runs for example or to manage their own time more effectively.

This is an exciting role for someone who is looking for a different type of work. You will be joining an organisation that aims to inform and improve policy and practice at local and national levels by identifying, generating and sharing high quality evidence on what works to prevent and tackle female genital mutilation (FGM) and other harmful practices such as breast ironing/flattening and abuse linked to faith or belief. The service is also working to deliver a system change in social work services for girls affected by female genital mutilation and their families, working with statutory agencies, government departments and local community organisations.
