Chemistry (Engineer) - Get into Technical Sales - Dutch/English

Are you a recent graduate with a scientific degree in Chemistry or Chemical Engineer?

Are you fluent in Dutch and English?

Do you have good communication skills and an entrepreneurial mind-set?

My client is a chemical player that's providing chemistry solutions to the oil and gas industry. They are a sister company of a big chemical business that's working towards a greener tomorrow. You will start as a technical account manager and get given a couple of clients. This means you wont have to begin with active business development and can start with managing existing clients. Since they are active in the oil and gas industry you will have the chance to work offshore for a couple of days once a month. Here you will get close exposure with day to day activities of the clients. From a technical perspective you analyse how things are going and what chemical solutions you can provide from them.

Initially you will mainly work from home and focus on the western part of the Netherlands. You will join an experienced team and get thorough training when you start. Here you will get to know all the technicalities about the products they sell and how the company organises things. Further you will have a lot of options to grow further in the company, making sure you won't be stuck in your role.

To be successful:

• Science degree in Chemistry of in Chemical Engineering
• Fluency in Dutch and English
• Entrepreneurial mind-set, with the will to learn and Develop
• Able to work autonomous with the needed guidance
• Driving license or willingness to get this
• Available to go offshore a couple days a month (you will get good remuneration for this)
• Valid work permit
• Able to work home office in the NL, with travels to clients
