Regulatory Specialist, FINRA Qualified
Our client is a fast paced, growing consultancy. The company has been in business for over 30 years and is still looking to hire ambitious professionals looking to really accelerate their career path
The plan is to hire a Regulatory Specialist with a view to progressing them immediately into a Director
The Regulatory Affairs Specialist will act as key contact person for regulatory issues.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
- Drive overall department effectiveness by directing the operation of one or more functional areas
- Develop and direct strategic initiatives regarding company and departmental policies and procedures in order to improve service standards for internal and external customers
- Direct the budgetary process for appropriate area(s)
- Ensure maintenance of accurate records and document actions for area(s) managed
- Interface within the company in a professional and courteous manner to achieve the Company's common goals and ensure communication of those goals and statuses to all necessary parties
Education/Experience:
- Bachelor's degree from four-year college or university; or five or more years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
- Juris Doctorate and 3-5 years of industry experience preferred
Experience/licensing requirements:
- Financial Industry Regulatory Authority (FINRA) Series 7, 66 required.
