Maintenance Manager - Automotive Leader - Germany

Our client is a leading automotive company working directly with car manufacturers like Daimler, Volvo and many more across Europe. They are a leader in the field of tire & wheel assembly and have plants across Western Europe. Currently, we're searching for a Maintenance Manager for their plant in the Baden Württemberg region, Germany.

This opportunity allows you to join an established leader within the field and add a real solid experience to your CV. The company has good reputation across the industry and for that reason it is working with all the major car manufacturers in Europe. The company is a joint venture of two leaders within the tire industry, one of which is a famous German brand.

The position is managerial, meaning that you will have high level responsibilities and will be able to further develop your leadership skills. If you're looking to progress in your career and play an important role within the manufacturing plant, then this position could be a good match for your ambitions.

You will have responsibilities in the areas of:

• Production: Maintaining the technical and production availability of assembly process of ready-made TWA; securing the availability of production line (reduce trouble shooting, best quality, optimal amount, etc.); carrying out actions in case of deviation (repair, maintenance, programming, etc.); maintaining the plant process in terms of availability and reduction of downtime; and more
• Quality: Maintaining proper maintenance and cares for all assets; developing a continuous improvement mind-set; Maintaining environmental, safety and quality standards; and more
• Administration: Reporting weekly on maintenance activities and monthly reports; Planning resources whether investments, internal/external maintenance with documentation; Developing and implementing preventive maintenance plans; Planning and implementing improvements of production line
• Relationship: Developing good and strong relations to technical service companies; Training the operators in technical-needs; Guiding, motivating, developing and monitoring the subordinated employees

Your profile:

• Experience as a technician in a production company or experience as a Maintenance Supervisor / Engineer / Manager
• Pneumatic, hydraulic, mechanic and industrial process measurement and control
• Leaderships skills
• Fluent / Native German, and good English skills

For this permanent / contract position our client is offering an attractive salary package of EUR 70,000 - EUR 80,000, company car, annual bonus and benefits. We're also open to freelance consultants.
