Looking for a 6 month contract where you can use your experience in interior design or architecture? Want to work for a company within the clinical diagnostics field who have a strong reputation on an international level? Then please get in touch as a position as a Space Planner has become available in Cambridge, UK.As a Space Planner, you will be responsible for working closely with facilities services, taking on project based work for designing the office and laboratory spaces, as well as supporting procurement and helping to develop the internal infrastructure of the business, amongst other diverse and interesting tasks. You will be taking on a 6 month contract, giving you the flexibility to explore the diagnostics industry and build on your previous skills within the field of interior design or architecture.This company are currently expanding their site in Cambridge and have added over 30 members to the office in the past few months, meaning you'll be entering into an environment that welcomes fresh voices and ideas. Should you wish to continue in the role after the initial 6 months, there is also a high chance of the contract being extended or turning into a permanent role, giving you access to further career opportunities within the business.Key Requirements for this Space Planner position include:
* 2-3 years of space planning experience, ideally within a global structure
* Previous experience in designing laboratories is beneficial
* Experience with AutoCAD
* Strong communication skills within graphics and an interest in working with aesthetic surroundings
* Candidates must be based in Cambridge or have the ability to relocate to the regionPlease note this Space Planner position is ideally looking for a candidate to begin as soon as possible, however there is some flexibility with this.
