An opportunity as a Distribution Sales Manager has become available with a medical device company who specialise in devices for ophthalmology. They are looking for a passionate sales professional who is happy to travel extensively and can base themselves somewhere within Western or Southern Europe.

With a strong reputation already present across the European market, this position will see you working with well recognised devices and with customers who already believe in these products. Your main task will be to take one of their lesser known product lines within ophthalmology and develop this to become as strong as their other product lines, giving you the chance to build up a market and be proud of something you have created.

As a Distribution Sales Manager, you will be expected to bring the following skills:

• At least 5 years of experience within ophthalmic/cataract surgery sales
• Fluency in English. German is beneficial but not essential.
• Flexibility to travel around 50% of the time, at least in the initial months. The travel will be across Western & Southern Europe.
• Ability to travel to Switzerland on an infrequent basis

This is a home based position with a preference for candidates who are well located to international transport links.
