The School of Mathematical Sciences sits within the Faculty of Engineering, Computer and Mathematical Sciences. Home to eight schools and a number of world-class research institutes, the Faculty stands tall amongst the world's leading institutions of learning and innovation.
The School is respected internationally for its research strengths in: geometry; statistics; stochastic modelling and operations research; and dynamics, modelling and computation.
As Head of School, your outstanding academic and strategic leadership will drive a progressive and engaged School to provide cutting edge research and teaching. With exemplary interpersonal skills the Head of School will inspire, motivate and develop staff, promoting a culture of excellence which recognises and celebrates success.
Your commitment and engagement will promote outstanding interdisciplinary initiatives and collaborations across the University as well as with our external partners to deliver research outputs that have national and international impact.
