Job Details

Applications are invited for the role of Business Continuity Administrator working within the Department of Strategy, Planning and Change, located primarily in Augustine's Courtyard.

We are looking to appoint 1 part time permanent role of 17.5 hours per week. The exact working hours can be agreed with the applicant but are highly flexible. The role involves working under the direct supervision of the Business Continuity Manager.

The primary purpose of the role will be to support the implementation and management of our Incident and Crisis Management Framework. This will involve undertaking administrative tasks such as organising meetings, tracking the return of various information and completed templates from divisions and faculties, obtaining action updates and maintaining the websites and sharepoint sites containing critical information, templates and policy documentation. It is also expected that the postholder will triage (and where possible respond) to queries into the Business Continuity Team, ensuring that urgent items are brought to the attention of the Business Continuity Manager as required.

It is expected that in the rare event of a crisis, this role would be able to contribute to the University's management of the event, which may involve some additional hours, potentially outside of normal working hours.

The closing date for applications is midnight on 25th July 2019. For informal enquiries please contact Ashley Kirby Ashley.kirby@Bristol.ac.uk

We welcome applications from all members of our community and are particularly encouraging those from diverse groups, such as members of the LGBT+ and BAME communities, to join us.
