A well established and leading pharmaceutical company wide a broad spectrum of products is looking to hire in the Netherlands. An exciting opening is available for a Head of Facilities candidate to contribute to their centre of excellence. Our client is proven in their field and look to go on and dominate through Advanced Therapy Medicinal Products.

Your responsibilities as the Head of Maintenance and Facilities is for site and facility management including maintenance and calibration. The site management will require engineering aspects and looking after all utilities, equipment, systems etc.

Working withina GMP environment, you will be required to write and review / approve GMP documents, technical reports etc.

The position will include working with external providers such as consultants and contractors for all engineering and maintenance work. There may be a requirement to perform small engineering and maintenance activities by monitoring utilities, systems and equipment status.

You will be responsible for the smooth operation of the Building Management System, the Equipment Management System and associated installations. Backup for breakdown maintenance and for all operation activities related to BMS/datalogger in case of scaling up.

QUALIFICATIONS & EXPERIENCE

You should have the following experience/knowledge;

Master's Degree in a mechanical or industrial engineering discipline with supervisory experience, or Ph.D. with post-graduate, experience, with bioprocessing applications and / or cell therapy related topics.

Extensive experience with Preventive maintenance of facilities and equipment.

Strong knowledge of the workings of a GMP environment.
