A young company and growing company specializing in compliance and regulations solutions is looking for young and motivated Analyst for the MENA countries. Your Main Responsibilities:

• Search and analysis of Open Source Information Intelligence (OSINT), including in specialized databases as well as in worldwide media according to standardized processes.
• Conducting enhanced investigations on designated subjects and drafting Due Diligence reports.
• Desk research to acquire strategic information in the attributed location (MENA).
• Assuring a monitoring of the regulatory environment in the MENA region.
• Development of internal tools, including our Compliance Monitoring Programme, with support from the Project Manager.

Other responsibilities:

• Liaising with the Supervisor to produce insights based on reviews conducted, to discuss results and recommendations.
• Escalate issues, which are not remediated within agreed timeframes to the Supervisor.
• Assisting the Marketing Manager by drafting and disseminating documentation dedicated to the Sales department and clients.

Your profile:

• Master degree in Law, Social Sciences, Economics, Literature, Translation and/or other relevant field. An education in Arabic studies from a renowned University is a plus;
• 1 to 3 years' experience within a Compliance function or as an Analyst/Business Analyst in the financial sector;
• Fluent in English and proficiency of French, both written and read (C1 Minimum)
• Arabic (specifically reading skills) is mandatory (at least B2 level of the European standard). Any other language such as Russian, Farsi or Turkish is a distinguishing advantage.
• Good proficiency user of specialized compliance databases such as Factiva, LexisNexis Diligence and Thompson Reuters Word-Check One, is a plus;
• Good skill in the full MS Office software is mandatory, Adobe Suite is an advantage;
• Knowledge of data management software (e.g. R or Stata) or programming skills (e.g. JavaScript, Python, Json) is a distinguish advantage;
• The position is open to Swiss or EU citizens with a valid work permit.
