Job Details
The University of Bristol is excited to be appointing a Strength & Conditioning Coach to continue to develop our student-athletes and clubs. Our holistic student led approach has achieved Top 10 BUCS position for three years running. This increased investment into this area of support will focus on sustaining this success.
Working within the Performance Sport division of the Centre for Sport, Exercise and Health, this post is offered on a fixed term basis for 15 hours per week, term time only (August to May).
Working under the guidance of the Lead Strength and Conditioning Coach, the role will assist the delivery of our Strength and Conditioning programme to our #WeAreBristol Performance Clubs. Working across a range of sports, these roles will be key to coaching and educating athlete and personal development to improve performance.
Working collaboratively with the Performance team, coaching community and support staff, these roles will contribute to the wider development of the division's work, particularly in relation to raising levels of physical preparation and conditioning as a contribution to improving health, wellbeing and education amongst students. These roles are a key addition to continuing to achieve our target of Top 10 in BUCS.
