Team Manager - Good Authority - Children's Safeguarding
My Client is a South London Local Authority looking for an experienced Team Manager to join their Safeguarding and Care Planning Team on a permanent basis. The Authority received an overall outcome of 'Good' in their most recent OFSTED, with 'Outstanding leadership', resulting in a less stressful and well supported working environment.
The average case loads for this service ranges from 10-12, allowing Social Workers to focus on producing high quality work and effective outcomes for children. Team sizes are small (5 Social Worker to Team Manager) making Managers more visible within the service, team supervision more effective and overall creating a well supported working environment for all. In addition, the Authority offers clear cut pathways to progression for Social Worker at all level right through to Head of Service.
Short listed candidates will have Management within Safeguarding & Court experience, ideally 4 - 5 years although experienced Deputy Team Managers may also be considered.
