A London based Local Authority is seeking an experienced Social Worker to join their Child Protection service on a locum basis

Highlights

  • Systemic Practice - which you will receive training on
  • Will have support from other statutory services in the region to help with caseload ultimately reducing your work load by reducing the need to chase up information.
  • The Local Authority has received a significant funding boost to use across children's services
  • Will gain exposure to CSE, Gangs, County Lines and Substance Abuse
  • Contracts are being offered on 6 month basis

    • This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced practitioner to get stuck into an attractive locum post which offers support and stability. You will be working in a Local Authority which has a wide range of resources that you will have access to in order to help support you with your caseloads. This will include information sharing which means you will have most information to hand and won't have to spend time collating information from various sources.

    The authority is also offering good levels of stability with contracts being offered for at least 6 months with the view of being extended. Those candidates looking to gain exposure to more complex cases should consider this post as practitioners will be working on cases which include CSE, Gangs, County Lines and Substance Abuse and will have the opportunity to specialise in one of these areas.

    To be considered for this post candidates should have extensive experience within Child Protection.
