Advanced Practitioner - Adoption - Outstanding OFSTED
An Outstanding Adoption Service is looking for a Advanced Practitioner to join their team in North London. The post holder will work as part of a multi-disciplinary therapeutic social work team and will be responsible for managing this high quality, specialist Adoption Service. As a senior post service development and teaching responsibilities will be expected.
The post holder will support the team through consultation, supervision and training. They will be required to take responsibility for the recruitment, assessment and matching of prospective foster carers and adopters, inputting into a mulit-disciplinary therapy team through the assessment process.
The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in working in the field of Adoption and Fostering. They will have an understanding of Therapeutic Practice, such as DDP or Theraplay and will have previous experience delivering training within an organisational context.
