Location: Surrey - Near Guildford

Salary: £35,000 - £45,000 + Benefits

Core Skills: Geotechnical Design (Foundations, Slope Stability, Retaining Walls, Piling) Ground Investigation

Academic: MSc Engineering Geology (or similar), Chartered Geologist

The Client:

We are working with a National Engineering Consultancy who are now looking to expand their team at their Head office with a Senior Geotechnical Engineer. The client place a real emphasis on employee well-being and development and have won many awards for championing development, training and diversity. The Role/Requirements:

• Eurocode design including piling, piled walls, foundations, temporary works, soil nails, ground anchors and the planning, implementation and interpretation of site investigations
• Detailed design engineering solutions, drawings and specifications including slope stability, earthworks, basements, deep excavations and/or retaining structures
• Knowledge of geo-environmental engineering and its interaction with geotechnical design would be a benefit.
• You will be expected to combine site work with design work and investigation and project management in a dynamic office environment.
