Global Business Development Manager- CMO/OEM - Medical Devices

Global company, specialising in contract design and manufacturing solutions to medical device customers, is expanding their Global Sales team and look for a new Business Development Manager, ideally based in Germany. This is a home based position.

The company manufactures complex and single component devices for cardiovascular, surgical, robotics, ortho/orthopaedics or life sciences applications. They have expanded drastically over the last few years and started selling not only in Europe but also the USA, Middle East and Africa. There are multiple opportunities for a strong sales 'hunter' to develop within the business into more senior sales, technical or leadership positions.

It is an excellent job for a Sales professional with international sales background and experience in B2B sales, also someone who understands working in OEM or Contract Manufacturing Organisation.

In this role you will have fun working with customers and R&D departments implementing solutions and driving new product development. It is project based sales role where you will target specific customers or niche application areas. You will also be developing business with existing clients and attracting new customers in the field. The team is very strong when it comes to sales and marketing support, therefore they will assist you every step of the way.

Requirements for the International Business Development Manager position:

  • International sales experience in medical devices
  • Must have: experience working for medical devices contract manufacturing organisation or OEM
  • Extensive B2B and channel management experience
  • Biomedical Engineering or other engineering degree
  • Commercial Sales presence, motivation and drive
  • Ability to travel internationally
  • Based in Ireland
  • Fluent/native level of English language + German languages
