Technical Sales - Perfect opportunity for Chemistry Graduates

Are you are chemist, biochemist, pharmacist or equivalent and are you looking to move your career into something more commercial? Then I might have the right opportunity for you.

My client, a global company, is currently looking for new candidates to join their sales team and build upon their ongoing success.

This is a great opportunity for you, who do not previously have experience from commercial roles as the company has a strong focus on training. This means that you will get thorough training to gain the tools needed to begin your career and be successful in the position. In addition to the sales training, the company also provides detailed preparation in the complexity of the products, so you will have a solid expertise in the different products. The company will therefore make sure that you are fully prepared to start your career as a up-and-coming technical sales consultant.

Additionally, we do also have a Technical Sales Associate position in the same company. The sales associate has a function as a market researcher and is usually the first point of contact for the clients. You will be a key player in the team in order to have a thorough understanding of the needs in the market and with the specific clients.

Even though it is a global company, you will open up for the opportunity to for the smaller UK structure in Macclesfield. The company thereby offers close relations and short decision making lines across seniority, while also giving the stability, which only large corporations can provide. Also, the team atmosphere is very young and dynamic with a constant focus on having close coworker relations.

As a candidate you ideally have:

- A background in Chemistry, Pharmacy, Biochemistry or equivalent
- Motivation to step into a commercial sales role
- Solid knowledge of Chromatography
- Autonomous and creative work spirit
- Competitive personality and motivation for ongoing development.
