An exciting postdoctoral research position working on environmental remediation applications of the Graphene Hub

Working closely with a key Adelaide-based industry partner and the research team at the ARC Research Hub for Graphene-Enabled Industry Transformation at the University of Adelaide, North Terrace Campus, this project is an opportunity to develop research concepts into prototype industrial products.

This project aims to develop functionalised graphene adsorbents that can be applied for soil and water decontamination, specifically targeting removal of heavy metals and poly-fluorinated alkyl substances. The position is for 1 year with possible extension depending on project development.

This project builds upon the successful development of effective graphene functionalisation procedures and the capability of the industry partner to develop technology that can be readily adapted for use in many industrial applications.
