Teaching Associate in Law

The University of Bristol Law School is a leading UK law school with an international reputation for outstanding teaching and research. The School is currently seeking to recruit Teaching Associates in Law for the 2019-20 academic year to support teaching in its LLB and/or MA in Law programmes and provide related administration. The posts are on Pathway 3 of the University of Bristol's Academic Career Pathways.

You should have relevant experience of effective teaching on a qualifying law degree or equivalent; evidence of ability and willingness to teach core units of the qualifying law degree in the LLB and/or MA in Law programmes, including the areas of Trusts and/or Company Law and Corporate Governance; evidence of ability to carry out academic administrative duties effectively; and excellent interpersonal skills including evidence of ability to work well in a team. It is also essential to have a good honours degree or equivalent in law (for example, Graduate Diploma in Law); and a postgraduate degree in law or a law-related subject (or to be working towards one) or equivalent professional qualification or experience.

The positions are fixed term, available from 1st September 2019 until 30 June 2020. Full and part time posts are available.
