Open opportunity for a Post-Doctoral fellowship granted by the São Paulo Research Foundation (FAPESP) with a duration of 24 months, linked to the Thematic Project Sepsis: Mechanisms, Therapeutic Targets and Epidemiology (grant number 2017 / 21052-0). The fellowship holder will work in the subproject Analysis of peripheral blood cell transcriptome and proteome of septic patients, focusing on regulation of energy metabolism and immune response, and will be based in the Federal University of São Paulo's School of Medicine (EPM-UNIFESP), São Paulo City, Brazil.

Candidates must have a Ph.D. degree and should be highly motivated, creative, and productive. A strong publication record is important. Experience with molecular biology, genomics and proteomics techniques is desirable and expertise in bioinformatics is required to conduct the work.

The fellow will get involved in other activities related to the Thematic Project, giving support to data collection, contributing to the development and proper progress of studies, as well as writing reports and scientific articles.

This opportunity is open to candidates of any nationalities. The selected candidate will receive a FAPESP's Post-Doctoral fellowship in the amount of R$ 7,373.10 monthly and a research contingency fund, equivalent to 15% of the annual value of the fellowship which should be spent in items directly related to the research activity.
