As result of growth, this pharmaceutical start-up company which stores, packages and distributes medical products, is searching for Head of Clinical Supplies which will have a key position in this organisation.

Currently, this firm is making their transition from GDP to GMP which means this will be an exciting opportunity in a dynamic and entrepreneurial environment with room for self development.

As the Head of Clinical Supplies you will be in charge of building and executing supply strategies in view of changes in trial execution.

More specifically:

  • Ensuring a seamless transition from study design phase and assessing clinical study recruitment rates, forecasting for kit demand planning and ensuring supply planning is adopted accordingly
  • Utilizing business tools to handle inventories and ensuring on-time delivery with minimal overage of clinical supplies
  • Issue resolution activities for supply aspects of clinical studies (e.g., packaging, distribution) and establish and modify trial specific distribution agreements
  • Participating as a member of appropriate GCDO clinical trial team and collaborating with your partners to ensure customer satisfaction, interfacing with Global Trial Managers
  • Developing excellent working relationships with the other groups within Supply Management
  • Running trial supply specific budget and supporting business process improvement initiatives during trial execution

Profile:

  • You have experience in a supply chain functional area preferable in the clinical supply chain
  • At least 4 years of relevant experience pharmaceutical/biotech industry
  • Excellent organization, facilitating and coordination skills.
  • Ability to work independently as well as a member of a team in a dynamic and fast-paced environment
  • General knowledge of GMP or GCP principles are preferred
  • Fluent in Dutch and English, written and spoken
  • Sense for initiative, accuracy and detail
