Regional Business Director - NAFTA area Industrial company - based in Mexico

I am currently working with an innovative French industrial company : with 100% of family capital, my client is specialised in the design and manufacture of technical adhesive tapes as well as in the die cutting of adhesive components. The main markets they target are automotive, medical, general industry, graphic arts.

To support their growth, my client is recruiting an International Director for the NAFTA area with a very important strategic / business role.

Here are the missions:

  • You define and implement the business as well as the industrial strategy of the two supervised entities:

  • The factory based in Mexico, located on the western suburb of Mexico City (80 people and generating a turnover of 10M €)
  • New York-based sales office (1 sales technical employee)

    • Management of the sales team (1 sales director + 4 sales technical)
    • You have to guarantee the achievement of their objectives in terms of turnover and profitability.
    • To do so, you control and animate via a field presence and through reliable KPIs.
    • Your technical understanding of customer expectations (current and future) allows you to identify new growth drivers (customers / markets) and develop new high value-added offers.

    Required profile :

    • You have acquired executive experience in one or more autonomous industrial entities (complete management of P & L) that sells highly technical products in BtoB.
    • A business Spanish level is essential for this position, french would be an advantage
    • You have a strong experience in management, including a sales team, you also have a strong business and strategic sensitivity (given that that the employee will rely on a factory manager, I'm more looking for of a CEO profile with a strong business acumen).
    • You have an entrepreneur mindset, also your international culture and your proximity of the ground and the business will allow you to take up this challenge.
    • Experience in the automotive / industrial sector would be highly desirable.
    • Knowledge of the field of industrial die-cuts / adhesives would be a big advantage
    • I am looking for a professional with values ​​(work, honesty, integrity, respect)
    • You are recognised as a rigorous person who knows how to bring precision and organisation
    • You want to join my client's project on a long-term perspective
    • Ideally, you have already worked in Mexico and are familiar with local cultural aspects
