Job Details
Open call for the recruitment of a Recognized Researcher (R2) in the field of food/nutrition metabolomics
We seek a highly motivated researcher who will be engaged in the field of foodomics, and apply metabolomic methods to biological fluids of various origin in order to determine the cellular chemical diversity and how the presence of certain metabolites affects the cell behavior.
The researcher will plan and undertake the experiments and will report and publish the results in scientific journals and at international conferences. The researcher will also perform metabolites analysis in specific in vitro cell culture experiments, aiming to address resolution mechanisms
All metabolomic analyses will be performed by means of NMR spectroscopy and statistical analysis of the results. The researcher will be recruited with a fixed-time contract for 12 months (with the possibility of extension to 30 months) from the Biomolecular Spectroscopy & Computational Drug Design Group, Department of Pharmacy, National and Kapodistrian University of Athens, Greece.
