Job Details
The trainee will use different Molecular Biology techniques aiming to manipulate RNA and DNA from leishmaniasis samples, analyzing biological sequence data and preparing different solutions and culture media. The activities performed will support the maintenance of the Functional and Comparative Genomics laboratory and research group of the Federal University of São Carlos (UFSCar), São Paulo State, Brazil.
The selected candidate will be granted a scholarship from the São Paulo Research Foundation (FAPESP) in the amount of BRL1,228.40 monthly after signing a initial 9-month contract, renewable for 24 months according to FAPESP standards and trainee performance. The FAPESP Level 3 technical training fellowship requires dedication of 40 weekly hours and is directed for graduated or about-to-complete-their-undergraduate-degree applicants.
