In line with its ambition to be a world-leading centre for research and teaching, this flourishing School is seeking to appoint a new research active Lecturer whose research interests align with the work our Leadership Educational Effectiveness and Policy (LEEP) research centre.

Applications are invited from those who have a successful track record of research and publication in at least one of the areas of leadership, educational improvement, effectiveness and education policy, and who possess ambitions in line with those of the School. You will have a PhD (or equivalent), experience in Education or in a related discipline, and relevant post-graduate teaching or lecturing experience.

You will be expected to teach across a range of courses reflecting your academic interests and experience, and to participate fully in the research activities of the School.

You will be an integral member of the LEEP research centre and therefore need to be a team player as well as capable of leading your own research agenda. You will be able to demonstrate that you are ready for the 2021 REF submission through a publication record and research trajectory that demonstrates high quality. There will be opportunities to develop your knowledge and expertise through staff development courses and events.
