Senior Geotechnical Engineer

One of my clients Geotechnical Engineering teams is looking for a Senior Geotechnical Engineer to join them in their Newcastle office.

This role would offer the successful candidate the opportunity to work on the design of some of the most exciting construction projects in the UK and worldwide. Working closely with colleagues across our multi-disciplinary practice, you will provide specialist consultancy input on projects across all sectors including Education, Healthcare, Critical Systems, Industrial, Residential and Retail.

Apply if you have:

• A BEng or preferably MEng in Civil Engineering.
• Demonstrable experience in a broad range of geotechnical engineering work including the design of basement excavations, retaining structures, shallow and deep foundations, slope stability and landslide analysis, ground improvements and rock engineering applications.
• You are fully conversant with principles of soil and rock mechanics and hydrogeology and undertaking designs in accordance with Eurocode 7.
