Job Details
NonStop Technical is currently working with an international high tech company in the area of Eindhoven. As you get to work on the entire process, you will see direct results of your work.
In the position of Mechanical Design Engineer you will work on several international projects related to precision engineering in which you cooperate with diverse stakeholders (e.g. customers, end-users, suppliers, production). You will combine kinematics and material properties, next to analysing dynamic and thermal behaviour.
Responsibilities:
- Design concepts, perform technical analysis and build/ test prototypes in cooperation with System Architects in a cross-functional project team.
- Support system integration/testing in cooperation with suppliers.
- Communicate directly with the customer regarding the results and specifications.
- Specify and design modules/functionality in order to realise the required performances.
- Ensure that the designs are feasible from a technical point of view and from the perspective of suppliers.
- Initiate design reviews with the customer.
Profile:
- Bachelor or Master Degree in Mechanical, Precision or Aerospace Engineering.
- At least 2 years of experience in a similar position.
- Experience with CAD-tools (e.g. NX, SolidWorks, Unigraphics, Catia and AutoCAD).
- Knowledge of Project Management and mechanical aspects.
- Experience with mechanical analytical techniques (e.g. CAE).
- Excellent skills in the English language.
