Join them to work with competent and dedicated colleagues across the organisation as you drive sales in one of the fastest growing markets.

As sales representative for Germany, you are responsible for driving direct sales to the German customers and together with the team grow the sales and awareness of the products and profile. You will report directly into the Country Manager in Germany.

Your main tasks will be:

  • Perform sales activities
  • Be a breeding advisor for customers to together developing breeding strategies that will create value for the customer using VG products and concepts
  • Maintain and optimise relationships with existing and potential customers
  • Driving sales expansion by introducing new solutions/services to customers
  • Driving new business pipeline to secure future growth
  • Represent and maintain a good reputation with all key stakeholders including customers, suppliers, local communities and politicians

Your qualifications:

  • To succeed in this role, you need technical understanding and commercial insight. You are ready to advise your customers on the product portfolio because you have an agricultural background combined with commercial experience - or vice verse
  • You have at least a few years of hands-on experience with B2C sales, ideally within the dairy based industry, and you enjoy securing sales through strong customer relationships
  • Evident planning and organisational skills
  • English is our corporate language, so a basic level oral and written is needed
  • Prominent social skills and ability to handle cultural differences, internally and externally
  • First class communication skills, able to operate structured, professionally and effectively
  • Self-motivated and result oriented
  • Valid driver License and mobility to travel abroad for education and customer studies.
