Southampton Business School has an ambitious quality driven strategy, which will see us strengthen our position as a world-class business school in research, education and enterprise.

As part of a world-renowned Top 100 QS ranked Russell Group University with a global reputation for academic excellence, we offer a stimulating, challenging and rewarding working environment for all our staff. The Business School has recently secured AACSB accreditation as well as having AMBA for our MBA and is aiming for EQUIS accreditation within the next 18 months. Our dynamic learning environment has recently been ranked in the top 10 for Business, Management and Marketing in the 2020 Guardian University Guide.

Applications are invited for a full-time, permanent Education and Student Experience Advisor (ESEA) in the School's Education Development Office (EDO). The successful applicant will be passionate about working with students and education staff to enable our students to make the most of their time with us. This requires a comprehensive understanding of the issues facing students as they transition to University and what strategies can best support them.

The school also has a large number of international postgraduate students and the EDO works to support them to adapt to life and study in the UK. You will support the peer advisor team who works with them to create and communicate both social and academic opportunities.

This role is an important liaison between students and staff and the successful applicant will demonstrate excellent communication skills including knowledge and experience of using social media.

This is a challenging and stimulating role which requires resilience and a commitment to our students and their education.
