Location: Temse Area, Belgium

Contract: Permanent

Salary: 55,000-65,000 Euros

Job Summary:

Within this role you will be challenged with conducting multiple tasks from risk assessments to audits as well as covering the Regulatory Affairs aspect of the industry as well. This will include ensuring that all the policies and procedures you both implement and manage are fully compliant with local and EU law and legislation.

Job Requirements:

• Masters Degree (chemistry, safety/environment engineer, civil engineering etc.) is required.
• Certification of Prevention Advisor Level 2 plus the additional HSE certificates (First Aid, ADR, and First Intervention etc.)
• Environment Coordinator Type A Certification.
• Experience in a QESH/RA role and familiarity with its legislations and procedures.
• A valid work permit is required.
• Strong communication skills in both Dutch and English.
• Living in the Temse Area of Belgium or willing to relocate.

Job Responsibilities Include:

• The role itself is very wide profile so you will be required to undertake multiple tasks on day to day basis including putting EHS procedures in to place. Ultimately this role will be challenging but very rewarding as the company runs on a meritocracy basis so the harder you work, the better.

• The work will include developing safety plans, carrying out risk-assessments, acting as both a prevention advisor and an Environmental Coordinator as well as being a first point of contact for all QESH matters, both internal and external.
