Job Details
NonStop's client is a hospital based in Tooting, who are seeking experienced Qualified Social Worker Practitioner for their Pre-Birth Team.
The team will provide intensive planned intervention, assessment, and support during pregnancy to parents where either parent has had a child previously removed through care proceedings. The aim of the team will be to support parents to provide safe appropriate parenting to their baby.
Responsibilities:
- Completing pre-birth assessments
- Preparing Child Protection reports
- Preparing court statements, chronologies and care plans
- Attending and presenting to CP conferences and court
- Working within a multi-agency setting
- Providing social work advice and expertise to health partnership
Management at this authority will also ensure your caseloads stay manageable to provide a good work life balance. They have actively reduced caseloads to around 15 for their staff to allow better quality of care for their service users.
