Project Leader - Principal Investigator

Job Description

L'azienda con cui sto collaborando e' una multinazionale leader nella fornitura di discovery services nell' industria farmaceutica, e nel campo animal health, nutrition, cosmetics. La figura ricercata e' quella di Project Leader con esperienza nel hit identification e lead generation. Inoltre, si occupera' di:

- definire le deliverable, piani di progetto, tempistiche e budget per i progetti di ricerca

- identificare le CRO o i collaboratori accademici appropriati, negoziando costi e tempistiche

- gestire lo sviluppo e l'esecuzione dei piani di progetto

- pianificare e tenere traccia dei progressi volti a raggiungere un buon esito del progetto

Il candidato deve essere a conoscenza delle prime fasi del processo di scoperta del farmaco, tra cui la generazione di test in vitro, HTS. Coordinerà tutte le attività di laboratorio necessarie per identificare e quindi ottimizzare nuove molecole bioattive come potenziali nuovi farmaci, in collaborazione con biologi, chimici e collaboratori esterni. Inoltre, controllerà attivamente la letteratura scientifica sugli obiettivi e le aree terapeutiche di interesse. Il candidato avrà un forte background scientifico, con una comprovata esperienza in progetti di scoperta di farmaci.

Skills & requirements

- Phd cell biology, pharmacology e discipline correlate e' requisito preferenziale
- Familiarità con concetti farmacologici di base
- familiarità con il drug discovery nel CNS e' requisito preferenziale
- Processo Hit to Lead comprendente i concetti di base di chimica farmaceutica e studi di PK in vivo
- Ottima conoscenza dell'inglese parlato e scritto
