Shift Plant Manager , Chemical West Midlands £35K

My client; a Speciality Chemical Manufacturer is looking to take on a Shift Manager (Production) for their site based in the West Midlands.

After winning several contracts this year, and increased production demands there is a need to strengthen the team with a Shift Manager

The company is actively looking for acquisitions, making it a perfect time to join to out yourself in the perfect position for upcoming opportunities.

*This role is shift (4 on 4 off- days and nights)

Responsibilities:

• Ensuring full compliance of Health and Safety and Quality and upheld during Managing the manufacturing function.
• Providing leadership and assistance to junior employees on the shop floor.
• Managing and delivering training

You:

• Previous man management experience (desirable)
• Chemistry Degree
• Ability to work under pressure and prioritise effectively.
• Understanding of basic chemistry
• Previous experience in a production role in a chemical environment.
