The University of Bristol seeks to appoint an Associate Professor in Learning and Teaching. The role is a key academic leadership role, part of the core team responsible to the Pro Vice Chancellor (Education) for enhancing teaching, learning, assessment and curriculum design at the University of Bristol.

Appointment to this position offers an exciting opportunity to lead a systematic programme of academic development at a major Russell Group institution. The appointee will lead a team of lecturers within the Bristol Institute of Learning and Teaching (BILT) and be the responsible owner of the Advance HE accredited Cultivating Research and Teaching Excellence (CREATE) CPD scheme (D1 to D4).

The successful candidate will have established a reputation in the pursuit of excellence in learning and teaching within the higher education sector. They will have experience, of leading continuing professional development for programme teams, schools and faculties, as well as developing workshops and resources which align to a University's strategic priorities. They will possess a deep understanding of the higher education learning environment in the UK, and demonstrate an aptitude for academic leadership.
