Join our client on their pursuit of innovation as the new Process Engineer in Lummen, Belgium.

With 10 plants and 2 R&D facilities across the globe, our client's mission is to focus on supplying solutions for emission controls, energy management and sound design to OEM customers in the automotive industry, such as General Motors, Volkswagen group, Suzuki, Nissan, Renault, Ford, etc.

Our client localizes global programs more efficiently and deliver customer's needs for a large range of products and technologies.

We are looking for people who:

  • Has a bachelor or Masters in Mechanical or Industrial Engineering
  • Excellent English language skills.
  • Working knowledge of metal forming.
  • Certified International Welding Engineer preferred.
  • Good knowledge of design for six sigma
  • Strong analytical thinking capabilities are critical.
  • Significant experience with metal products OR the automotive industry.
  • Minimum 5 years of experience with manufacturing processes.

A day at work will let you:

  • Ensure feasibility of designs is met, guarantee products can be manufactured.
  • Work with the Plants to understand the specific needs of the plant.
  • Ensure that the company's standards are respected and secured (Health & Safety, Ergonomics, 5S, etc.)
  • Responsible for process definition.
  • Responsible for process validation till handover to plant at run@rate.
  • Provide core process technology expertise and participate in Core Competence Team.
