Digital Print Quality Engineer
My client, a world leader within the digital print industry, is currently looking for a Scientist who specialises in the Inkjet sector.
This company is receiving high volumes of business which has resulted in the need to bring in extra hands to help with the work load. The position itself will be focusing on the development and quality Inkjet Inks and technologies within digital security and print team the quality. This is a fantastic chance for someone who is looking to act autonomously and take charge of projects, developing both technical and commercial skills. Due to the size of the company there is scope within this position learn new skills thus increasing your employability.
Key responsibilities:
- Analysing print results, understanding quality
- Analysing trends in print behaviour, doing internal reports
- Handling digital print and assessing quality
- Designing experiments to understand digital print quality under conditions of varying print speed, curing time and substrate type
Requirements:
* Minimum of 3 years Inkjet experience, formulation within digital printing industry
*A BSc in relevant scientific discipline
*Hands on experience with digital presses (ink and toner) at laboratory and production scale. Understanding inkjet print head and toner drum physics
* A good understanding of Inkjet printing processes
* Research and development background
* Expert application knowledge for Print Quality
* Formulation background
* Excellent communication skills
