EHS Senior Specialist - Vienna, Austria

One of our clients, well known pharma and animal health company is currently looking for an experienced EHS Specialist in Austria, Vienna.

Your responsibilities:

• Technical support and coordination in the definition and implementation of EHS systems for the site
• Conduct EHS risk analysis, assist with the development and implementation of corrective and preventive action plans, and report to Site Management
• Find opportunities for improvement and cooperation with other EHS / Engineering / Operations employees to leverage best practices and achieve continuous improvement
• Develop and implement location strategies to ensure that all current and future safety requirements are 100% met
• Ensure stable on-site systems to ensure compliance with all legal safety and environmental regulations and to comply with global safety and environmental expectations
• Establishment and implementation of EHS training programs to maintain the qualification of all employees
• Control of EHS documentation

Your Profile:

* Technical (engineering, chemistry) primary degree with a EHS qualification
* Previous experience in a role within a highly regulated manufacturing environment, preferably in Pharmaceutical and/or Chemical Industry
* Relevant professional certification(s) (e.g. Sicherheitsfachkraft) preferred
* Experience on supporting multiple activities/projects and on working with EHS regulatory agencies and Corporate support functions
* Excellent communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills
* High level of GERMAN and ENGLISH
