Job Details
The Finance team for the Faculty of Social Science & Law and Faculty of Arts and are seeking an Administrative Assistant to provide excellent customer service and administrative support to the academic & finance team.
This role would suit those who are interested in higher education administration and offers a great opportunity to take on a varied role within a busy team. Day to day duties will include recording applications and awards, arranging meetings, liaising with our contracts team and managing incoming queries.
You will have a good understanding of office procedures, together with the ability to multi-task and to prioritise your own workload. You will need to be able to work well under pressure, and in a flexible manner, and also have the aptitude and willingness to work closely with others as part of a team.
A good knowledge of software packages such as Word, Excel, e-mail and calendar is essential, as is an understanding of the organisational requirements of a busy office.
