Job Details
The Avon Longitudinal Study of Parents and Children (ALSPAC), also known as Children of the 90s, is a world-leading birth cohort study, charting the health of 14,500 families in the Bristol area. ALSPAC has collected data from medical records, linkage to other databases, questionnaires, measures made at hands-on assessment clinics and analyses of biological samples collected over the years.
ALSPAC has been awarded a further 5 years of funding to continue with the longitudinal cohort data collection. The post holder will be required to provide an effective and efficient reception and administrative service for studies taking place within the ALSPAC clinic, particularly the Focus_30 clinic.
The study clinics will be run at the convenience of participants to ensure the maximum possible uptake. It is anticipated that this will necessitate running clinics early morning, evenings and on the weekend and potentially in different locations. The post holder will need to organise clinic schedules, make appointments for participants and carry out administrative duties to support the day to day running of the clinics.
Interviews to take place week commencing 23rd September.
We welcome applications from all members of our community and are particularly encouraging those from diverse groups, such as members of the LGBT+ and BAME communities, to join us.
